CIRCLE THE DRAIN: Eagles take ugly turn in Buffalo

David Duprey/AP

In quarter four, the Eagles were pumped,
down one score from a Bills team that slumped.
Set to get the ball back
for a final attack,
the Birds failed when Juqua Parker jumped.

On fourth down, the Bills set a trap,
letting the clock go without snap.
Ryan Fitzpatrick said, ‘hike,’
but the ball stayed still (sike),-
so did all but the poor Parker sap.

The Bills took a big lead with ease
thanks to four Mike Vick I-N-T’s..
Buffalo’s Fred Jackson
got plenty of action
against a ‘D’ holed like swiss cheese.

With a productive day all around,
Jason Avant put two balls on the ground.
Thanks to turnovers
and defense push-overs,
the Eagles’ season came more unwound.
