The Flyers knocked Buffalo out,
a 5 to 2 Game 7 rout.
Buffalo had a chance
to take charge and advance,
but Philly was better, no doubt.
Braydon Coburn’s shot from the point
squeaked through and ignited the joint.
Philly’s forechecking game
kept the visitors tame,
as forwards did not disappoint.
Just as many fans had been hopin’,
the power play broke the game open.
Flyers led, 3 to zip,
on James Van Riemsdyk’s tip.
On the bench, the Sabres were mopin’.
Ryan Miller was chased from the game,
after four goals appeared with his name.
The Sabres would skate
too little, too late,
as the Flyers put their hopes to shame.
